Winkler Knives Fixed: S.A.R.

The S.A.R. (Search and Rescue) is based off Winkler's Utility Knife, with a few tweaks designed for its intended usage. The blade remains thicker towards the tip for extra strength and piercing prowess, and has super aggressive serrations on the top edge for sawing ad tearing. The guarded profile aids in keeping your hand safe when striking with the blade end. The but end of the knife features a breaker tip, great for smashing things! Full, skeletonized tang for strength and weight reduction.

The Blade: The flat ground profile is great for general use the thicker spine adds to tip strength. Finished with a Caswell black oxide finish.

The Handle: Contoured profile with lanyard/wrist strap hole and full tapered tang for weight savings and balance. Butt end breaker tip.

The Sheath: Kydex scabbard with soft liner and multiple carry options such as clip on and belt loop, both vertical and horizontal. Note: some photos picture past sheath designs. See last picture for current sheath design.
