Designed with insight from former Navy SEAL and Army Special Operations personnel as a tactical blade that can also hold its own with general utility tasks. The slimmer profile and filed thumb rest aids in finer control. This blade just feels great in the hand, and is ready for real use. The Blade: The flat ground blade with upper swedge is superb at finer work as well as general tasks and is finished with a Caswell black oxide finish. The Handle: Contoured profile with lanyard/wrist strap hole and full tapered tang for weight savings and balance. The Sheath: Formed deep-sitting leather scabbard from DeSantis Gunhide Note: Winkler products are hand finished. Every scale has been hand contoured, and sculpting is done by hand. Additionally, materials vary a little bit, whether it be due to natural variations in wood, different batches of micarta or G10, or anything else.
