American Tomahawk
The American Tomahawk Company has a long history of getting combat tools into the hands of those that need them. The original “Edensburg” Tomahawk was designed and built by Peter LaGana for American military personnel in Vietnam. After LaGana stopped making them in the 1970’s, the design was licensed out and built by several manufacturers over the years, with many variations and revisions. The most notable of these was the VTAC, used all over the world. In 2019, the American Tomahawk Company was acquired by several parties that know their way around a ‘hawk, most notably RMJ Tactical. Using their experience with modern manufacturing and design, they released the Model 1 - a modern yet faithful take on the LaGana Edensburg Tomahawk, built to serve. The Model 1 is in service today, and has a National Stock Number (NSN) that can be issued to service personnel.
