Winkler Knives Axe: Wild Bill Axe

The Wild Bill takes a more classic small axe/tomahawk design, but features more modern construction and design elements that really turn it loose (hey, it's called 'Wild", ain't it?). The head is a classic shape with semi-bearded design for better control when choking up and an end spike great for piercing and prying. The non-linear handle profile allows for two separately designed grip area that aid in various tasks. The full length skeletonized tang is tapered for a strong yet surprisingly light tool.

The Blade: Convex ground with nice curve for maximized cutting edge length and length and finished with Caswell black oxide finish. End spike for piercing and prying.
The Handle: Curving profile with hole for lanyard/hand strap. Skeletonized tapered tang for weight savings and optimal balancing.
The Sheath: Kydex scabbard with soft liner and nylon snap loops. Shock cord retention system for fast deployment.

Note: Winkler products are hand finished. Every scale has been hand contoured, and sculpting is done by hand. Additionally, materials vary a little bit, whether it be due to natural variations in wood, different batches of micarta or G10, or anything else.
