Hidetoshi Nakayama Cross Pendant

This Cross Pendant from Hidetoshi Nakayama mixes his steampunk style with the 'more than meets the eye' design he is known for, all wish his legendary attention to detail and finish execution. This pendant is comprised of three main sections: the Cross body, the lanyard loop, and the pick.

The Cross body features a turned central hub, from which all four of the main arms of the Cross radiate, as well as the four sub-arms in between each main section. Each arm is hand turned by Hidetoshi, with a satin finish. The pendant is sized so it is large (without being totally massive), while being conveniently palm-sized, with the long arm of the cross long enough to poke from between your knuckles if gripped in a fist.

The lanyard loop section takes Hidetoshi's signature industrial aesthetic and acts as the interface between the pendant and whatever you are connecting it to. Whether it be your keys, a lanyard or chain, this is an easy attachment point that swivels and rotates independently of the base. The steel construction is finished with a satin brushed finish on the loop, with a turned base that blends into the Cross.

Finally, the Pick section adds a little extra utility (and a little extra bite). Screw out th pick, and you have the coolest toothpick or scraper around. When done, just crew it back in. Or, you can flip the pick around, and screw it handle-side in to the cross body, allowing for the pointy pit to stick out of the Cross.
