Fellhoelter Betting Bead Put-and-Take - Copper/Red

You know what makes anything better? Gambling!
Yeah, it can ruin lives if you get carried away, but other than that, a little game of chance can add excitement to just about anything. Yer always carrying your knife, so just untie this precision machined bead, roll it like a dice and turn that boring wait into a fun filled game of Put-and-Take!

Put-and-Take originated around WWI as a way for troops to pass the time. And hey, what's better to make you forget you might have your head blown off or be poisoned by gas than gambling!
Here's how it works:

• Determine your ante amount. It can be any amount and is the "one" that all players will play with. A buck typically works well. Although, it is fun to take kids money like a quarter at a time. For our example we will use a buck.
• Each person playing puts the ante amount in the pot
• Then each person rolls the lovingly machined die (bead) and does what the top side says:
  • T1, T2, T3 - Person TAKES 1, 2, or 3 bucks OUT of the pot
  • P1, P2, P3 - Person PUTS 1, 2, or 3 bucks IN the pot
  • AP - Bummer Dude! This guy now has to put the amount of the current pot IN the pot. Ex: if there is 8 bucks in pot, you have to ADD 8 MORE bucks to pot!
  • BF Logo - Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! You get all the marbles baby and the game is over. Then you can all ante up and start again!

Notes on Copper: This is a disclaimer for all you folks who slept through high school chemistry class or somehow not aware of the nature of copper. All metals will change colors and looks over time depending on use, environment etc. This is especially true with copper. This means it may get a darker, may change colors with patina, or it may get shiny and polished where it is rubbed by another material (like say your pocket). Take those pennies out of your pocket and see how different they all look. Well there ya go: that's copper! If you want to keep your copper all shiny and new you will have to keep cleaning it with any of the homegrown solutions you can find with an internet search. OR, you can accept that what makes copper a cool material is that your piece will change over time and tell its own stories and truly become one of a kind.
