Steve has been going back to old school, big, bad, tactical fixed blades lately with hard use and abuse in mind. Designed to tackle any task and built for the elite, Steve Ryan's Echo model has seen use around the globe and in the toughest environments. The mid-sized blade had a bulldog mentality, with a shorter but tall blade while still being thin enough for real cutting tasks. Steve took the iconic blade and has brought it back, this time upping the ante with a long and large hand ground, suedo-asymmetric grind that mixes cutting performance and toughness. The V-ground main bevel angles upward on one side, giving a reinforced tip edge like you would see in a tanto, but with a more general purpose spearpoint profile. Partial serrations for more utility. The handle profile offers a full grip, with strategic jimping and thumb ramp for a totally locked in grip whether held in a standard or reverse grip. Contoured micarta handle scales offer natural grip without being overly aggressive to the touch, and feature lightening machining for weight reduction and more grip. This one has Steve's two tone "night Hunter" acid etched finish with dark etch and satin highlights. Lanyard hole at butt end with a crusher tip. Kydex sheath with IWB clip.
