Steve Ryan: UDT Lite - Satin/Green Micarta
Live inventory. If you can add it to your cart, it is in stock and ready to ship!
The UDT Lite is a simple looking blade with a metric ton of utility. "UDT" stands for Upside Down Tanto, which is pretty apparent at a glance. The UDT gives you two major edge profiles for a ton of versatility. The blade features a chisel ground main edge with a serrated upper edge. In a standard grip, you get a Wharncliffe/sheepsfoot-style edge, long and very straight with a slight belly. This gives a very useful utility blade for cutting and chopping. Flip the blade over (literally grab it upside down), and that sheepsfoot turns into a tanto blade! Both sides are sharpened for extra defensive capability, and longer life. The spine has a slight rise for a thumb ramp better control and leverage. This one features Steve's satin "tool room" finish. The contoured micarta grip gives a little bit of natural texture without being overly aggressive, making it comfortable to carry inside the waistband. The grips and frame are drilled to shave some weight and add a bit of extra grip. The UDT Lite is a perfect small concealed utility fixed blade. Comes with a molded kydex sheath with snap loop, and is ready for your preferred mounting solution.
