Shirogorov Knives: RJ Martin Soft Overkill - Satin/CarboTi

The robust and recognizable design of RJ Martin mixed with the sleek and functional Shirogorov style! The Lava and Ash CarboTi scales over the natural tumbled titanium liners really brings the heat! For those that didnt know, CarboTi is a mixture of... you guessed it carbon fiber and titanium. The two materials are layered together and then adhesively bonded to one another. The end result is a super strong, super lightweight material that looks absolutely killer! The scales are just lightly smaller in profile than the liners, making for a nuanced, highlighted profile. The handle shape is pure RJ, with a curving profile and single finger groove design. The floating titanium backspacer has robust jimping for extra grip. The scales are cut away at the rear end for the lanyard hole in just the titanium liners and backspacer. The liners have been extensively milled out and windowed for weight reduction. The blade features a long drop point profile with raised, jimped thumb ramp. The blade features a stunning two tone finish, with brushed sating flats and a fine tumbled finish on the bevels. The blade is tuned to deploy with a very solid press of the flipper tab, just like you would find on one of RJ's custom knives, and deploys lightning fast and smooth on roller bearings. Lots of small details are present as you would expect from Shirogorov. The custom titanium pivot hardware matches the blade with a two tone satin finish. The bolsters, floating backspacer and machined pocket clip all have a matching matte tumbled finish that ads a subtle contrast. The CarboTi scale has been milled out under the pocket clip for easier clipping and unclipping from your pocket. The liners have subtle scalloping for extra grip at the spine. The backspacer has been precisely machined to allow the blade to close within its footprint, allowing for the renown Shirogorov ratio of maximum blade size to frame fit.
