The Blade: Like a fine wine (or Willie Nelson), Mick seems to be getting even better with age. Cause damm-o kids: check out that wicked ass, aggressive sweeping Nightmare Grind! The grinds show the beautiful wave of the hamon. Ta-dow! Mic dropped. Flats of blade are finished in a multi metal impregnated texture. Signed in the choil M. Strider.

The Frame: Full titanium, Gunner Grip goodness! The Gunner Grip gives you a locked in grip without being too aggressive and tearing up your hands. Full contoured frame on both presentation and lock side. Finished with a natural, two tone satin finish. The titanium pocket clip can be configured on either side, and features the MSC logo. All satin titanium frame hardware.

What is a hamon anyway?: A hamon is the visual indication of the blade being differentially heat treated. Long ago before we had all the super steel alloys we have today, sword makers realized the harder they made the steel the better it performed when cutting. However, if it is too hard, it could become brittle as it cannot 'absorb' shocks. Thus the blades were differentially heat treated keeping the edge at a higher hardness level for cutting performance, and the spines 'softer' for durability. During heat treating, you would often see a difference in color for the different hardness levels.
