About the Solapado model: Folders are great, but the fact is that they are nowhere near as quick and surefire to deploy as a fixed blade. The problem is carrying and concealing fixed blades. The Solapado is designed for front pocket carry or super discreet waist carry in non permissive environments. Toss this little guy in your front pocket or set up IWB, and you have a uber low profile, uber concealable, defensive tool. The Solapado is a built-up Pikal style with a reverse edge knife meant to be held in the reverse (ice pick) grip. The technique involves kind of a 'stab and rip' movements. Included molded kydex sheath ready for your preferred mounting solution. The larger handle is easy to control in multiple positions, yet sized to be carried all day. Comes with Kydex sheath with IWB clip and ready for your preferred mounting solution.

The Blade: Zeno ground recurve profile with hollow grinds and given an acid etched finish.

The Handle: Black cord wrapped handle that is then resin cured making for a solid and secure grip that isn't overly abrassive.

About Joe Watson: Joe Watson is like the stealth Bomber of the knife making world (back when it was classified). There tend to be knife collectors, and then knife users, and by users we mean guys doing serious stuff that train with a blade as a way of life. If you have heard of Joe Watson, they have probably come from these users. No flash, no hype. Just clean, purpose built, hand crafted defensive tools.
