Blackside's edged tool line has been focused on bringing smaller, capable and concealable blades to your lineup - but sometimes, you need something big and heavy to get the job done! Enter the Rykochet - 2.5 pounds of destruction at your fingertips! Immediately, you see a few things about the Rykochet, mainly the aggressive profile and built up faceplates on the head. Geared for a multipurpose tactical role, the Rykochet is going to be at home breaking and breaching, as well as general use chopping, cutting and prying. The S7 steel construction means impact resistance and absorption, perfect for heavy hits and big swings. The head profile built up behind the edge to add extra weight and reinforcement. Rearward, the spike is perfect for piercing, prying or extending your reach for pulling. Smack dab in the middle of the head are two built up faceplates that give the Rykochet an aggressive look and some of Blackside's signature flair. These face plates can be removed with the custom titanium torx hardware, if you need a lighter and more streamlined cutting performance. Moving down the handle, you will find aggressive jimping at the top and the bottom. The bearded design lets you choke up and have finer control during more precise cutting tasks. The handle scales have a diamond textured pattern for increased grips and a classic look. The butt-end flairs out to hook your grip and give you better control and retention during the swing and impact. Each Rykochet comes with a molded kydex sheath with integrated titanium pull ring, and is ready for your preferred mounting solution.

About this Rykochet: This 'hawk features an OD green Cerakote finish for a tough, corrosion resistant coating. The faceplates are carbon fiber for some weight savings and killer looks, and the handles are OD green G10.  All titanium custom torx hardware with a black cerakote finish for a bit of contrast.
