Winkler Knives Fixed: Survival Striker

The Striker was designed at the request of Australian SAS for a blade with hammering capabilities integral in the design. The tang starts at .360 inch thick at the hammer end, and tappers the full length to the tip. The Survival Striker takes the standard design and changes things up! The handle is still skeletonized, and now has removable grip scales (held on by Phillips/flat head topped screws) to open the compartment in the skeletonized handle. Each knife comes with a ferro rod and bag of steel wool, and can be set up to carry whatever goodies you need to have at your disposal. The stout, flat ground blade is capable for heavy duty tasks and batoning, and had large jimping for your thumb. The kydex sheath has an included tool for removing a grip screw to gain access to the handle compartment, or removing screws on the sheath (which is configurable for different carry and mounting options.

The Blade: The flat ground drop point profile is an excellent all-round performing profile with Caswell black oxide then tumbled finish.
The Handle: Skeletonized design with storage compartment. Contoured profile with lanyard/hand strap hole and flat hammer end.
The Sheath: Kydex scabbard with soft liner and multiple carry options such as clip on and belt loop, both vertical and horizontal. Attached tool for grip take down.

Note: Winkler products are hand finished. Every scale has been hand contoured, and sculpting is done by hand. Additionally, materials vary a little bit, whether it be due to natural variations in wood, different batches of micarta or G10, or anything else. We take stock photos that are representative of the product you will recieve, but due to all the variables we stated, each one is totally unique and may vary a bit. WINKLER HAS CHANGED THE TOOL INCLUDED WITH THIS KNIFE. There is now an included Phillips and flat head driver that offer improved functionality on the handle screws.
