Wilson Custom Knives: TekLine P.A.C.K. Lite Hollow Handle Survival Knife
So, at 14 years old there were two things that any red-blooded American boy lusted after: Elle Macpherson and a hollow handled survival knife like John Rambo had. Sam Wilson of Wilson Custom Knives has been making some rad survival knives to keep on that legacy of capable, bad@$$ blades with his own twist. Like the name alludes to, his TekLine P.A.C.K. Lite is a smaller, very lightweight hollow handle design allowing for a smaller, all day EDC-friendly survival knife. This means it's well suited for folks in town, out of town, and travelling between thanks to the unobtrusive size and lightweight materials. The smaller yet capable blade is the perfect size for daily needs and ease of carry, yet large enough to take on big jobs. The aluminum handle is light and strong, and features a cord wrap for extra grip and as backup cord. The handle provides a waterproof storage compartment to put some survival gear or whatever else you need. The aluminum guard keeps your hand from sliding forward, and helps protect from impacts. A compass has been embedded into the handle butt cap, which features knurling and a lanyard hole. The P.A.C.K. Lite comes with a kydex sheath for a secure carry, ready for your preferred mounting solution.
The Blade: Smaller but capable flat ground drop point profile, finished with KG GunKote finish (except for the Satin variation).
The Handle: Cord wrapped aluminum tube with waterproof internal storage. Aluminum guard and knurled butt cap with compass finished to match the blade (except for Satin variation, which features an anodized finish).
