Spartan Blades Folder: Kranos - Carbon Fiber

The Kranos is the latest folder from Spartan Blades, and as you can expect from a Spartan product, it is downright amazing! With an overall design that is very linear and angular, the Kranos mixes an old school, straight and simple feel and ergonomics, with high tech, cutting edge tactical design. On top of that, it seems like each part has multiple roles, aiding to the simple-seeming-yet-high-tech design. The titanium frame features a large inlaid woven carbon fiber scale, that not only looks awesome but is useful as a lockbar over travel stop. The titanium portions feature lengthwise grooves contributing to a sure grip. The inline backspacer doubles as a lanyard loop thanks to the open profile of the frame end. Moving forward, the spearpoint blade profile features a slight recurve, and the upper swedge thins things out a bit for easier cutting. The blade is riding on a bearing pivot for fast, smooth deployment when you really need it. The machined titanium pocket clip keeps everything in place, and really adds to the classic look. The Kranos is the perfect size for your EDC; overbuilt and tough enough for the worst you can throw at it, but streamlined enough to take with you on the day-to-day.
