Skyraider Knives: SRK-1 Banshee Fixed Blade - Black Nitride

Skyraiders SRK-1 is a low profile easy to carry fixed blade that, like its namesake, is ready to take on a number of roles. Sized perfectly for a full grip without any wasted space, the SRK-1 fills your hand and can be easily tucked into a bag, carried on the waist in an IWB defensive blade role, on your belt, or tucked into a pack or plate carrier. The handle profile locks into your hand in both a standard or reversed grip, and features generous jimping for extra grip. The skeletonized design keeps the weight down, and offers end-user customization for the perfect setup. Keep the blade skeletonized for the slimmest and lightest profile, add a paracord wrap for a bit more grip, or configure with one of Skyraider's machined aluminum hard-anodized scales for increased grip. Each knife has received a NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) certified heat treat for a consistent, repeatable performance knife to knife, batch to batch. The molded kydex sheath comes with a clip to set up for carry, and is ready to take on a number of mounting solutions so you can set it up just how you prefer. This variation features the Banshee recurve tanto blade with double hollow ground main edge, flat ground reinforced tip bevel and upper swedge!

The Blade: Recurve tanto profile with double hollow ground main edge and flat ground tip bevel, with upper swedge. The blade is ground from A2 tool steel for a tough blade and wear resistant edge. Skeletonized blade window for weight reduction and less friction in the cut. Upturned thumb rest with jimping for finer control and extra leverage. Finished with a corrosion resistant, easy to clean blackened nitride finish.
The Handle: Skeletonized full tang for weight reduction while retaining strength. Jimping on the spine and front strap for better grip in a standard or reverse grip. Available machined aluminum grips lock in place in the skeletonized profile.

Add some grip scales to your SRK-1 with ease! Each pair slots right into the skeletonized frame of the SRK-1, and is affixed with Torx hardware. Available in three texture patterns:

• Smooth - give extra width to fill the hand for a sure grip without being abrasive. Excellent for pocket or against the skin carry, minimizing snags and scratches.
• Golf Ball - maximum grip! The Golf Ball pattern gives additional grip, perfect for the heaviest use when your hands get slick.
• Sun Ray - a of comfort and grip! The flat tops won't shred your skid, and the grooves give somewhere your hands to dig in when you grip it.
• Diamond - similar to Sun Ray, with a little more flat surface area to favor comfort. Still grippy, but a little less aggressive.

Available Grip finishes:

• Black Anodized - the go-to finish for hard use weapons platforms for years, with a matte finish for less visible signature.
• Cerakote - a ceramic based coating that excels in corrosion and wear resistance and available in all the cool guy colors!
• Two Tone Satin - A mix of one finish with a hand applied natural satin finish for maximum style points.
• Beskar - This is the way! An engraved texture with multi step tungsten Cerakote and natural aluminum finish process, and only suitable for the toughest warriors.
