The Pro-Tech Runt 5 is as the name suggests a small automatic blade that is perfect for a back up blade or small EDC. The small design makes Runt 5 a very EDC friendly blade as you can throw it in your pants pocket, lightweight shorts, in a suit, or thrown in a pack/sling bag without being obtrusive. The Wharncliffe/sheepsfoot blade profile is superb for utilitarian tasks and features a stonewashed finish. The firing button is recessed to prevent accidental firing, however with the milled relief, easy to find and activate when needed. To deploy the blade simply press the button. To close, simply press the button, close the blade into the frame and release the button. The handle features slight contouring and milled texturing for a solid 2-3 finger grip and a deep carry pocket clip to keep everything in its place. The butt-end features a machined lanyard hole for attaching a lanyard or bead.
