Pecard Leather Care: Antique Leather Dressing

Pecards dressing puts the "good stuff" back into leather. Each treatment allows fibers in the leather to become stronger, softer and more flexible. Bring back older leather items or keep newer items from getting rotted out. This is our go-to when threading beads onto leather bracelets, conditioning old sheaths that have started to dry etc. 

• Please make sure the item is oil tanned and not coated leather. What is coated leather? Think Doc Martins or many cheaper leather goods that have an almost plastic like quality to their surface that doesn't allow the dressing to penetrate the leather.
• Not for use suede or nubuck style leathers.
