Monkey Edge Patch: Mockba - Black/White

Unless you are a AK/Soviet enthusiast, you may be asking WTF is Mockba? Well Mockba tennis shoes ended up being a piece of 'cool guy' kit as the bad ass Russian Spetsnaz guys were rocking them during the Afghanistan campaign due to the Soviet army not having suitable footwear for the terrain. The story of how Mockba came to be is pretty interesting.  Basically, during the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, the Soviet Union forced Adidas to set up factories in Russia to make the uniforms and shoes for the games. When the Olympics ended, those Adidas shoes were then produced as 'Mockba'. Russian troops favored wearing the tennis style shoes in the rough mountain terrain in Afghanistan. So you'd have these guys all kitted out with their AK-74's, full camo, and blue Mockba tennis shoes! The Monkey Crew had to have some Mockba swag, so we are also offering them up to those who appreciate the obscure military trivia. Now you too can have the fun of kitting out your gear and having people look at you going "what the hell is Mockba?"
