Milt Sparks Holsters: Nexus
Though the Nexus has some similarities to the Criterion and Versa-Max 2 at first glance, there are many key differences that make it a staple of the Milt Sparks lineup in its own right. If you need your rig to maximize concealability and comfort, the Nexus excels at keeping your carry out of site and at the ready. Like the VM-2, the main body of the Nexus features a body side made from sturdy horsehide, with a cowhide mouth-band and sweat guard. Past that, the differences start becoming more apparent. The Nexus' layout positions your carry lower and with more rearward rake, really tucking the holster down low. This makes for both a comfortable carry, positioning the muzzle off your body line (awesome when sitting down), and opens up the full profile of the grip for easier access. It also keeps the tail end of the grip closer to your core, helping to prevent excess printing. The Nexus offers a flatter body side design, with the molded angles biased more to the outside for extra comfort. The extended sweat guard further promotes comfort by keeping the sharp angles of your carry off your skin. Another unique feature is that instead of the standard snap belt loops, the Nexus features magnetic fasteners. This makes donning and doffing the holster a breeze without needing to remove your belt, and also keeps the whole belt interface slimmer and less bulky. The molded sight track gives clearance for your front sight, so there are no snags when drawing or re-holstering. The Nexus is perfect for an ultra low profile small pistol carry, or an extra comfortable large pistol carry.
These Nexus' feature a smooth-out construction, with the body-side of the holster is sturdy horsehide, with a cowhide outer-side and belt loops. Configured for right-handed shooters (holster on the right side, mag carriers on the left side).

Notes on Leather:
What do leather items and underwear have in common? In both cases people don't want to buy one that somebody else has tried on. When someone wants a nice piece of leather, they want to get that new leather goodness that has not yet been worked over by some other chimp. That being the case, we have special rules regarding ordering, handling, and if it comes up, returning leather goods. So if you are thinkin' about buying some leather gear, you should REALLY read our Leather Guidelines and Return Policy so you don't monkey something up and find out you can't return it.
Leather comes from animals and every animal has it's own hide that will have its own unique character representative of its origins. Some variaton from pictured should be expected.
