Kiku Matsuda Knives: Sou Ryu - Acid Washed/Black G10

The Sou Ryu from Kiku Matsuda is a large wicked blade that is as much a brutal cutting instrument as it is a functional work of art. The large recurve blade can tackle heavy duty tasks thanks to the thick stock and hollow ground main bevel and Hamaguri-ba convex zero grind forward bevel, yet still is a capable general use cutting tool. A long upper swedge is positioned in the front of the blade to help reduce weight while still leaving material towards the tip to reinforce it. The blade flows into sculpted G10 handle that is perfectly sized for solid one-hand manipulation. The semi-guarded design and retention strap helps keep your hand in place even during the most jarring work. Comes with molded kydex sheath ready for your preferred mounting solution.

The Blade: Long recurve profile with a hollow ground main edge and Hamaguri-ba (convex zero-grind) forward edge and given an acid etched finish.

The Handle: G10 grip scales with sculpted texture for added (but not too aggressive) grip.
