When our buddy AJ at Tactical Elements told us he had an 'in' at workshop in Japan hand-forging authentic Shurikens and kunias... It reignited memories from our youth of terrorizing the neighborhood with our terribly-made ninja stars and nunchucks, being a complete menace to every tree or stump in sight! After snapping out of it, we just asked where to send the money! Fast forward months of waiting, and finally one day a big box of nostagic, hand-forged goodness showed up at our door. After a small delay of puncturing every wall at the shop a dozen times, now we can offer you the same opportunity to live and share your childhood with some real Japanese-made kunais of your own!
This is one of those "get 'em when we can get 'em" type deals. We don't know when we will get more. We don't know a ton about where they are made, except that they are made by a company that specializes in saw blades and other cutting tools. We DO know they are hand forged, quenched, and hand finished examples of kunai goodness, and they are totally bad@$$! Each comes in a wooden presentation box, with info on the kunai (don't ask us what it says, it's in Japanese)! Each blade is left with a flat edge (so not ground to a sharpened edge, though we're sure a determined individual could make that happen) but each tip has been ground to a point so they will stick into things.
Note: Each kunai is hand-forged, ground and finished. They are not precision-machined, cookie cutter gimmicks, so expect differences in each one.
