No Flipper?? Why do they make both Mounds and Almond Joy? Well cause sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't! Every now and then your pals at Hinderer will do a batch of the world famous XM-18's minus the flipper tab. Some people like to just use the thumb-stud to open their knife and prefer the slightly more streamlined carry without the flipper tab. The Blade: The Hinderer Slicer profile is a very classic and all-round handy cutter. This one is finished with a stonewashed finish. The Frame: Titanium lock side and scale liner are titanium with stonewashed finish. The G10 scale has Hinderer's XM texture for secure grip. Tri-Way Pivot System: Hinderer's new Tri-Way pivot system lets you configure your XM-18 further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife's pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife*, and install whichever option suits your needs! Note: Disassembly of pivot is required to change pivot system. Hinderer Armorer Tool is recommended for the job.
