About the Emmet: The Emmet builds on the design of Hinderer's FXM series blades, with a more 'field' design approach. The profile will have some familiar details to and Hinderer XM user, with the same basic, superbly ergonomic grip profile of the XM series. The sheepsfoot profile is excellent at general use tasks and finer work with ta large belly. Like all Hinderer designs, it was designed with careful attention to the ergonomics and details needed in a knife meant to be used hard under harsh conditions. The full tang features a the 'XM' profiled grip that melts into your hand with a standard or reverse grip, and the contoured handles give a great purchase without being too large. Perfect for a small field or camp blade, or mid sized EDC carry. Comes with a hand built leather sheath with belt loop. The Blade: Sheepsfoot blade profile, finished with Hinderer's Working Finish. The Handle: Contoured micarta scales over full length tang. Note: Most knives will be received with 'dry' scales. Micarta likes to change its color depending on the surface condition, and when freshly machined will be lighter in appearance. Don't worry, they easily darken when wiped with some WD40, or even just with use as the oils in your hand get on the material.
