About the Ranch Bowie: Like the name implies, the Hinderer Ranch Bowie is at its best doing hard work in rough conditions. The bowie blade with upper swedge is ground from super tough CPM-3V, giving you an exceedingly tough blade. The bowie profile is excellent at general use tasks and finer work with the thinner pointed end. Like all Hinderer designs, it was designed with careful attention to the ergonomics and details needed in a knife meant to be used hard under harsh conditions. The full tang features a sculpted grip scales that fill the hand very well for both bare or gloved hands, and is large enough to not prematurely fatigue your grip. The shaping, as well as the pommeled profile and guarded shape keep your hand from slipping. Comes with a hand built leather sheath with belt loop.
