The Eklipse Skinny 3.5 inch is just what it sounds like: a thinner version of the normal XM-18 3.5 inch. The Skinny blade is 0.140 inch thick, 0.025 inch thinner than a standard Eklipse 3.5 inch blade (0.165 inch). The whole package gives you the same hard use knife in a bit slimmer overall package. The Eklipse incorporates the knowledge Rick has gleaned from years of sending XM-18 into the hands of hard users and the resulting creation is a knife that feels great in the hand. It is perfectly balanced, and has a the precision lock up you expect from Hinderer. Similar in size to the world famous and tested XM-18 3.5 inch, but with a totally different feel! The Blade: The Hinderer Slicer blade profile is especially good at -you guessed it- slicing especially paired with the hollow grind! The Slicer is similar to a spearpoint profile, but with a primary grind that sort of angles up towards the tip, resulting in a little bit thinner and "more slicey-like" tip. Great overall use profile with Hinderer's Working Finish. The Frame: Titanium lock side and scale liner are titanium with a Working Finish.
