Another amazing creation from Japanese knife maker and all around craftsman artist Hidetoshi Nakayama is the X-Folder. The X-Folder is a super unique and amazing piece that could only come from Hide's workshop. Part balisong, part normal folder. The X-Frame is deployed by squeezing till the bali-type lock disengages, and then while holding onto one of the 'X' rails, give it a slight flip and the blade comes out. Simply squeeze the frame back together to lock.
Like all of Hidetoshi's pieces, each one is individually crafted by personally by his hands in his shop. The frame is constructed from SUS 304 stainless that Hide gives a textured finish with multiple color bluing. The blade is hand ground D2 steel with his gunmetal patina finish.
