Defiant 7 Folder: Hyrax - Stonewashed/Mokume

About Defiant7: While the name Defiant7 may be new and unfamiliar, the guys behind it all are well known to the custom knife world: Les George and Chad Nichols. Les George has a long established reputation as a custom knife maker, designer, and machining ninja. Aside from his custom work, Les has been doing in house production versions of his designs the past several years with the crazy popular VECP, ESR, Talos, etc. Chad Nichols has been the guy pushing the boundaries of materials with his stainless damascus and mokuti under the Nichols Damascus banner. What is not as widely known is that Chad works quite a bit behind the scenes with custom knife makers to get their designs into a production format. Defiant7 is the cumulation of Les and Chad's experience, skills, and passion for craftsmanship. They wanted to start a company that was not a 'company', but rather a sandbox where they were free to create and produce their knives on their terms.

About the Hyrax: The Hyrax from Defiant7 features the clean lines and rock solid build that we've come to expect from Les George. The versatile spearpoint profile blade is great all around performer with a great feeling snappy and smooth action. The titanium frame features a stonewashed finish with a diamond textured Mokume inlay that adds both some added traction and visual punch, while the ergonmomic shape keeps it comfortable in hand. Finished with a titanium pocket clip, the Hyrax is sleek, stout, pocket friendly blade thats ready for use and ubuse.

The Frame: Stonewashed titanium frame with a diamond textured Mokume inlay, satin hardware, and a tumbled titanium pocket clip.
