Alexey Konygin Microhierax Slipjoint - Blue/Satin Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern
The name Konygin is widely known in the knife and EDC world, where brothers Anton and Alexey have been creating unique knives and gear for many years. Alexey is known for his unique style and his Microhierax is no slouch! Like the name would suggest, the Microhierax is very small and light, with a unique skeletonized handle profile and hand ground Wharncliffe blade. The frame profile allows for a solid two finger grip, the blade features a thumb ramp and jimping in key areas for fine control. Simply pull out the blade, and the slipjoint lock handles all the rest. The Microhierax packs a ton of details and features:
- Skeletonized frame with additional interior milling for weight reduction
- The overall size and non-locking nature makes this legal almost everywhere
- Large thumbhole in the balde for one-handed or two-handed opening
- Oversized lanyard/key ring hole
- Custom pivot and hardware
- Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern on both frame sides
The Blade: Double hollow hand ground Wharncliffe blade profile with fine blasted and tumbled finish on the bevel and satin brushed flats.
The Frame: Full titanium frame with blue anodized finish with satin flats. Both sides rocking some Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern goodness and extra milling details. Custom pivot screw and hardware.
