Description
The DD is just a clean-cut, straight to the point blade design that is very apparent in its intent. This spearpoint blade profile variations is a tad smaller than the 'delta' blade variation, and excels at chopping and piercing, and is a superb all-round performer. The grind is really unique, with a main V ground bevel and an asymmetric tapering secondary bevel along the right hand side of the blade. This gives you a more slicey edge towards the handle, and a bit thicker and reinforced tip all without having a separate tip bevel. Steve finished these with a 'splash' acid washed finish that has satin highlights and darker etched details. The contoured and sculpted Micarta handle scales gives extra grip without being too abrasive, with relief for a lanyard hole. Grippy jimping strategically placed at the thumb rest and near the lanyard hole.The full tang is profiled to match the scales for comfortable carry. Comes with a molded kydex sheath ready with TekLok.
Note:
Keep in mind each knife has a hand etched blade and hand sculpted grip. They will all look a little different. Some will have more 'satin' etching spots, some less, and some will have more on one side of the blade than the other. Know that you have a totally unique, custom hand made blade!
