The Medford EOD 1 was designed by a Marine EOD member with features specific to its intended role as well as a great "bail out bag" tool for those that are not disarming bombs.

• Tool steel strike plates on pommel to use as hammering surfaces
• Pommel has a hook that acts as a crowbar prying surface
• Hole in blade is meant to be a clip in point for a carabiner so knife can be driven in the ground and a biner snapped in to run wire etc.
• Wedged (but unsharpened) five sided tip for probing and prying.
• Rear spine serrations for tearing through tougher materials

This version has a black PVD blade and black G10 handle scales.
