Hand forged in the late 1800's and given a new lease on life (and some cool guy styling) from David Rydbom. Found in upstate New York, this cleaver has a mysterious past form it's location and Asian design influences. This cleaver is just beggin to chop somethin', coming in at nearly four pounds! Dave brought her back from the abyss by completely de-scaling using electrolysis and wire stripping. Becasue this thing is so wild, Dave elected to retain the as-found edge, nicks, gouges and chips included to keep up that "been there" vibe. He added a brass saddle with weathered finish and the Rydbom Heritage logo. Being such a killer piece, Dave decided it needed its own display, and made up a custom black walnut with brass hook hanging display. use it at home or hang it on your office wall for the ultimate conversation starter (or as an overhanging threat of punishment).

About the Rydbom Heritage Collection: David Rydbom started Kingdom Armory due to his passion for craftsmanship and desire to create. In many ways inspired by those before him that crafted durable goods meant to last generations. The Heritage Collection was conceived as a 'tip of the hat' to those that came before. Honoring their blood and sweat by restoring and reimagining their work so it can live on for many more generations to come. These vintage tool heads have be sourced from all over Europe. They come to the Rydbom workshop where David completely restores them and ads touches of that signature Kingdom Armory design language. They then take a trip to Canada where Boletus Trinity crafts a custom, handmade, hardwood handle. Every piece is a 'one of a kind' link between craftsmen separated by generations and thousands of miles.
