The Reaper is one of Ryk's older designs that he has recently revisited and totally re-carved and this new version improves on the classic. Starlingear continues to be on the cutting edge of materials and design. Copper, while cheaper as a material than silver, is exponentially harder to cast and has a very large loss rate. Now, Ryk Maverick has developed a proprietary process to accelerate the aging process. This process makes each piece unique and almost organic in nature as the look will continue to change over time. Every piece is hand aged and then buffed on the high spots to bring out the contrast.
