D22 creations are precision machined in the USA from high grade titanium. The new D22 Uncus was envisioned as a quick connect carabiner/clip that had a tie off point separate from the main spring loaded area. It makes a great sling hook (similar to the HK type snap hooks) as it is feather weight and being titanium, is has an enormous amount of strength. It also serves well as a key chain by slipping a split ring into the end. Use it on piece of gear you want to be able to clip on.
