CSM Gear is a US equipment manufacturer started by Mike "Doc" McMillan. Doc retired from the US Navy and spent almost his entire career with the USMC Recon community. This expertise has lead him to produce bomb proof quality and unique designs. He is also a "friend of the family" of both Starlingear and Strider (CSM produces many of Striders sheaths). The guys from Starlingear decided to do a bead based off of the CSM Gear logo. These previously have only been available from Doc himself and given out to his pals. These are the first that have been offered for sale. While these are produced in the Starlingear shop, they are not a Starlingear product and Ryk did not do the carving for the master.
